Everyday Institute was founded in 2020 when everyone had to figure out how to do things differently in a matter of days—including discipleship.
We exist for one reason: to make it simple for people, churches, and ministries to accelerate discipleship every single day. We do this by creating baseline discipleship courses that are easy to facilitate one-on-one, in small groups, or as courses with larger communities. They’re designed to be accessible, accelerated, and actionable in a secular cultural moment.
Think of it like Alpha, but for the person growing in faith instead of exploring faith. And, like Alpha, we give it all away for free.
Our courses are the product of constant experimentation in the local church context of Bellevue Christian Church, conversations with the community of innovators and builders at Missional Labs, deep study of the Bible and catechetical practices of the ancient church, and ongoing feedback from churches and organizations that are trying them out. (Also, for those who are interested, our courses align with the biblical, historic beliefs articulated in places like Apostles Creed + Lausanne Covenant.)
Austin Gohn is the founder and primary instructor. He’s worked in the church for over a decade, and he’s obsessed with figuring out what discipleship looks like in churches of all sizes. As a lead pastor, he gets the struggle that pastors and ministry leaders experience in trying to create and curate discipleship courses for their churches.
He’d love to talk to you about what discipleship looks like in your context, and if there’s a way that Everyday Institute could serve you. If you have any questions, reach out to Austin Gohn using the form below.
